Today was my first day back at work. I fretted over it more than I thought I would. After all, I have done this before. Once I left the house and was in work surroundings again, it all felt quite comfortable. Amelia did well with our wonderful nanny - she took the bottle, ate cereal, went on a couple walks and even napped. So far, so good. Though I did time things a bit poorly - now that the weather is getting nice, I am back at work! Charlie's shot of Mom and Amelia |
She's a pretty little thing. And I think I recognize that sweet little outfit.
I'm glad everything went smoothly today. I can't even fathom going back to work someday, but I know I probably will.
