What an incredible fall! Jason and I have made it to the lakefront a number of times in the past few weeks to enjoy the sun and warm fall temperatures. Lying in the grass listening to the waves breaking on the rocks, I had to remind myself it was October in Chicago. Happy autumn! Fall leaves by the lakeside |
Like I said, heading out to the lake on sunny, cool afternoons is a big reset button. Clears the head and makes monday seem that much farther away.
Jason on Tuesday · October 21 2003I just got back from a 3-mile stroll in Delavan, WI (near Lake Geneva). Leaves are starting to drop but they are nonetheless beautiful. Ah, it's great to be alive.
