Denver Botanic Gardens just opened the Cloud Forest Tree exhibit this year. It houses many rare and exotic orchids that have previously not been seen by visitors to the gardens. We had a chance to visit in March and it was impressive. It is a living sculpture where hundreds of blooming orchids will be rotated into the exhibit. Many of the orchids grow directly on the bark that covers the outside of the tree exactly like they would in nature.
If you get a chance to stop by, I recommend it. Not much else was blooming at the gardens in March, so I would like to head back there in the summer.
